As a board of volunteers we have worked hard to maintain the validity of the association as outlined by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing HB 207. As a result of our faithful members and the hard work of both past and present board members we are able to, as of January 1, 2020, decrease our member fees. The following is the explanation of the categories and fees:
Certified Member qualifies as a Certified Foot Zone Practitioner who does not hold a license for touch in any other therapy. This membership qualifies one to practice the profession of Foot Zoning legally in the state of Utah.
A Licensed Member is certified as a Foot Zone Practitioner and is Licensed to touch the body for therapy in one or more healthcare practices such as medical, massage, physical therapy etc.
Associate member is NOT Certified as a Foot Zone Practitioner but is Licensed or Certified to touch the body for therapy in one or more healthcare practices such as medical, massage, physical therapy, etc. and is NOT practicing foot zone therapy.
Student Member qualifies a person as presently certifying to become a practitioner in the Foot Zone technique by a recognized training program with DOPL, but has not met the requirements to be a Certified Foot Zone Practitioner. This person can charge half price for a foot zone session after completing 20 full foot zone practicums.

We want to thank each one of you for the amazing several years we have had with you since the UFZA was formed in 2014. The UFZA was formed to provide unity among Foot Zone Practitioners and the schools that provided training and education. The UFZA was and is intended to provide a space to grow and provide professionalism for those working in the Foot Zone industry. The membership fees allowed us to cover expenses such as our conferences, website, taxes, and lawyers fees for our 501(c)6 status.
